I need to go to college far away, help?

For my whole life, my family has moved every few years and every time we move, my parents expect me to do as they please and go where they want me to go. As I've grown up, I have started to move away from my parents stereotypical kid they want. Now, living in Virginia, soon to be Hoover, Alabama, I have chosen where I want to go to college and I'll do whatever it takes to get there. My dream school, where I have wanted to go for years, is the College of Charleston. Unfortunately, my parents expect me to go to Auburn or Alabama. While those are great schools, it's not where I want to go. I should have the grades, test scores, etc. but my parents are stone-walling me. They don't want to pay for the expense to go there. I have volunteered to do as my sister is doing and take out student loans for the rest of the expense they won't pay. But, they won't budge. Does anyone have any ideas? I would keep the team and when someone is struggling put Travis Hafner in beccause I think he is just so good and powerful. The Best Food for a Pug?

Hi. I am a 7 month old Pug puppy. I am a15 pound male. I have been eating Nutro Small Bites Puppy Chicken, Rice and Oatmeal dry food since I was 3 month old. I recently read that my food is not one of the best premium dog foods. I am constantly searching my backyard for leaves, figs, berries etc. Also when my owner feeds me boiled carrots, green beans, chicken or rice I tend to get an upset stomach. Green stuff on copper pipes in refridgerator system - are these copper precipitates or from coolant?

I took apart a broken water cooler and the copper tubing through which I ume coolant runs is covered with green and there's green powder everywhere. Early in August 1990, the Iraqi Army invaded and took over Kuwait. The US and several arab and european powers imposed economic sanctions on Iraq and formed a coalition to force the Iraqis out. i have an HP dv7-1020us laptop, and i left it on when i went out of town on accident, when i came home, it was off. when i tried to boot it back up, the computer's volume displays and stuff will light up (num lock and caps lock lights will flash alternatly also), and i can open the CD drive, but the monitor will not turn on.i've tried taking out the harddrive and attaching an external monitor, but i still can't even get to my BIOS... i know my motherboard is probably fried, but if it is, is there i way to fix it, or a cheap way to get a replacement?... 400 bucks for an almost out dated laptop motherboard is ludicrous when you can buy a better laptop for like 250

My boyfriend came over the night of my 24th birthday (2 days ago). He lives over 50 miles away and he worked all day so I was really happy to see him. Goldfish losing color after changing food?

ok so i have 4 comet goldfish one is completely white and the others are white and orange but now the other 3 are almost completely white and i cant tell them apart! i changed their food from tetra color to wardly Goldfish flakes cuz i thought it would be better for them cuz it says goldfish on the container and the container doesn't say anything about enhancing the color and before i changed food their color was fine nothing wrong with them and i changed their food about a couple months ago now and i noticed their color is going away and i had them since for like 5 months when they were really small and their the only fish in my tank and i change their water when i change the filter and i have this stuff you put in the tank when you change or add water to remove the chemicals and stuff that is not good for them they dont seem to be stressed or sick their always swimming around happily so could it be the food?

I'm not Canadian but I think I have a good suggestion to share. My family came to the U.S. in 1960. We came from the Netherlands. Before that we lived in Indonesia. My father is a Dutchman and my mother was from Thailand. When we came here they did not know anyone but the people at the church who sponsored us. They were all Americans. Eventually my parents were introduced to other Dutch and Dutch-Indo families. Later my mother was introduced to Thai women and so it goes on. They had a mixture of friends. Why do some people think you should marry a woman just because of an unplanned pregnancy?

Gaining weight on atkins... please help?

I was on the atkins diet, and it seems I keep gaining weight... I lost 15 pounds in one month... and then over the course of 4 days... I gained back 3 pounds. Why is this? I had 2 pieces of popcorn the day I gained back one pound. I also had tostitos spinach dip... (I think I had 35 grams of carbs that day during the induction phase) and then I went to a korean bbq and they put all this seasoning in the meat.... (so once again I had 35 grams of carbs) but that other day... All I had was a large coffee and a 150 slices of pepperoni (processed meat) and I stilled gained a pound!!! Yesterday, I had 4 cups of lettuce (ur only supposed to eat 2) and I had 4 cups of radish (your only supposed to eat one) but I've gained back 3 of the pounds I lost. Yesterday, I had about 5 ounces of mayonnaise... (Your supposed to eat lots of fat on this diet)

Wisdom tooth growing/pain, gum covering half of it.?

i am 18, and all my wisdom teeth have came through and their fully grown exsept for my lower left 1, sence yestherday i've been in pain with it. my gum is covering half of the tooth. How much liquid chlorine can I add at 1 time to kill ammonia in my pool ?

Had a phosphate problem as a result of algae in the pool over the winter. I killed all the phosphates, but I discovered I still was not getting a FC reading on the test strips. I found out I have VERY HIGH levels of ammonia in my pool ( 22,000 gallons ) - I realize I need about 20 gallons of 12.5% liquid chlorine to kill it - I've been putting in 3 gallons per night, so far 9 total - am I doing this right ?? Was I supposed to put ALL 20 gallons in at 1 time ? Am I still killing the ammonia with 3 gallons per night ? I was afraid of bleaching the vinal liner. Thoughts ??

Yes. That is far too tiny for a guinea pig. I also don't recommend leaving it stuffed animals for company, guinea pigs chew on everything and fabric/cotton fluff isnt exactly good for their systems. Its "cute" I guess, but the health risks override the entertainment benefits. Stick to edible scenery, Im sure your pig will prefer that anyway. I dont suggest using fabric bedding either, they make different varieties, if you dont like the mulch chip styled stuff ask someone at a local pet store about different varieties and if youre still unsatisfied you can always use newspaper (just take out the slicks) but I suspect your pig will like it less.

I have a small tough dog who beat a rottie in a play fight since then the rottie and my dog get along great no fights the respect each other. when i walk my dog at the park and people with large dogs won't let my dog and their dog play I say let them play. we are hear if it starts to get out of hand we break it up. the best thing you can do is to try and get your dog to be comfortable with big dogs. a neighbor has the same problem. The person below me isn't 100% correct. I lived in Japan a year and some places have toilet shoes. You take yours shoes off because you went outside not because you went to the bathroom. There was a mall where I worked and they had bathroom shoes. Some nicer bathrooms have them to help keep it clean. Some Japanese people have them at their house to keep your feet clean in the bathroom etc. It isn't really common but its there sometimes. You will not be able to find any shoes in Japan. Bring your shoes there. Probably about a size 11 in means is as big as you can get there. My gf had the opposite problem because she wore a womens size 4. She couldnt get any that small lol.

i looove pumas ;) they're not bulky, cute and so comfy. they're also versatile (for me, at least). i can wear them with almost all my jeans and shorts (except for skinnys), and they're good for casual things, like shopping (my feet hurt less) or going to the movies. converses are okay, but if you have large feet, you look like you have clown feet if you wear converses. they also don't have much support--and too many people are trying to pull them off with outfits that don't work!

One of my best friends has been really distant lately?
