Do women use babies to trap men?

I am writing a research paper concerning the theory that many pregnancies are simply a result of a womans last and desperate attempt to keep their man. This paper will cover statistics of women using men to provide for their means over large periods of time based solely off the fact that they conceived. Statistics of the women in question will also be provided. Such statistics will focus on the previous lives of the studied women. These include, Poverty levels, mental trauma and sickness, cases, envy, and gold diggers. can you help to reinforce my paper with any ideas of your own. i aim to include this as an appendix to my paper. thank you.
