Fly bites...or hives?

The bumps are an allergic reaction to the insect bites. The other horses are being bit just as much, but your mare is having a reaction and the other horses aren't. There isn't much you can do about it outside of having your vet give your horse a shot for it. The results are only temporary. This is something you will have to live with, with that horse.
