I need ideas for table centerpieces for a 40th birthday party.?

I'm throwing a 40th birthday party for my husband and his twin brother in a banquet hall , the theme is the 80's . I want to cut cost and make the centerpieces myself but I don't have any ideas .. I would like balloons on top of it not flowers ..But I can't find any good web site to guide me ..Please if you know of any cool centerpiece that is easy to make I will really apreciate you share it with me .
