You know the love affair that boys (especially the boys dressed up in Man Suits who sit in Congress) have with uniforms and things that go "BOOM!". Too many chickhawks of every age couldn't live without a mive military to admire, adore and cheer for. Too many defense contractors would go broke and thousands of lobbyists would be unemployed without the Pentagon shoveling our tax dollars their way.
