Please suggest some advice. I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and a hiatus hernia since two months?

I am havings pains in my chest, back side of neck and in my left hand. As doctor prescribed, i am taking SAAZ DS 1gm(3 TIMES A DAY). and OCID QRS TABLETS BEFORE BREAKFAST. I have lost 11 kgs in weight after controlling my diet.(Reduced from 92 to 80 kg - My height is 5 feet and 7 inch) Now I am avoiding all acidic foods as Acid reflux is one of my problem. But still pains are persisting. Should I go for repair my hiatus hernia? Is the UC is cuarable by taking medicines? Please help........
